About Us
This is the story of Modulux3D
Modulux3D started as a EU Horizon 2020 funded project, BRIGHTER (and later B-BRIGHTER). The technology was born at the Goethe University Frankfurt, helped by an amazing consortium in Spain, Germany, Sweden and Israel. After the completion of the project, the team realized the potential of the 3D bioprinter that was created.
Modulux3D is a young team of scientists, biotechnologists, optics specialists and business developers based in Frankfurt, Germany. They are supported by the Main/Rhein startup environment (Unibator from Goethe Uni, HIGHEST from TU Darmstadt and FUTURY the Future Factory) and are the recipients of the Hessen Ideen Scholarship and the Distr@l funding.
